Rick Hansen by Terry Barber.

At the age of 15, Rick Hansen suffered an accident and was confined to a wheelchair for the rest of his life. Unwilling to let his disability hold him back, Hansen showed the world what a person with a disability can do. He wheeled through 34 countries on a Man in Motion World Tour to raise millions of dollars for spinal cord research and awareness.  Audience: Junior, Intermediate.  Readability: Grade 2.

This biography and many more non-fiction, high interest books are available at the Terry James Resource Library.
